Bryan Davies is a full-time professional photographer with a studio in Creemore, Ontario. Graduating from Humber College in Visual Communications, Bryan has spent the past thirty years developing his unique photographic style. For twelve years Bryan served as the resident nature photographer at The Kortright Centre for Conservation. Beginning in Family and Children’s portraiture in 1973, Bryan has applied to become an Affiliate of The Professional Photographer’s Association of Ontario.
Davies unique style of expressive images has been successfully exhibited at The Patti Friday Gallery, Curiosity House Gallery, Harbour Muse Gallery, Mad and Noisy Gallery and at Arabesque Restaurant. Several of his fine art images have been published internationally. Again this year we will see a collection of Bryan’s Fine Art Photographs on display at The Purple Hills Studio Tour in Creemore.
Bryan also shoots stock images of The Georgian Triangle Area for resort and tourism clients. The Collingwood Chamber of Commerce has recently accepted Bryan Davies into their membership.
In addition to teaching photography at Georgian College, Barrie, Bryan hosts Outdoor Photography Workshops and International Photography Adventures for Focalight Images. Bryan Davies continues to produce award-winning photographs for wedding, commercial and family clients.
Bryan enjoys helping people to improve their photography skills through Focalight’s personalized photography courses. Bryan has been interviewed on Discovery Channel, CBC Radio and CITY-TV’s Breakfast Television. One of the highlights of Bryan’s career was the opportunity to work as David Suzuki’s still photographer on an episode of The Nature of Things TV show. Bryan enjoys mixing his love for people, nature, teaching, travel and photography. Davies says: “Strong photographic images must come from the passion that you feel in your heart.”
